  1. Toshiba Function Key Driver Windows 7 Download 32 Bit

Function keys in my Toshiba Satellite P55W-C5204 are not working, after I made a factory reset (but without deleting my files) Before that I could use all of them, combined with FN. Now, the keyboard does not lighten up, when I press FN+Z, or I cannot mute my laptop by pressing F11 etc. After the reset I got a file with names of all deleted applications. One of them is probably the one that causes all the trouble.

It's TOSHIBA Function Key versin 1.1.16.6401. The newest version I found on Toshiba support pages is 1.1.15. Is there any way I could get those functions back? I cannot find ver. Help me, please.

Webworkings said: It would not be 'Toshiba function key'. Go to 'Control Panel' then open 'Device Manager'.

Double-click on 'Keyboards' to open the sub menu. Now double-click on your keyboard that is listed.

In the new window, click the 'Driver' tab and then click 'Uninstall'. When it is done, click 'OK' and close all the opened windows.

Now restart and it should reinstall that driver. In regard to the one you did uninstall, you would probably need to reinstall it manually. Okay, I did that, and still nothing The keyboard driver was reinstalled, indeed, but the function key are not back. I have a Toshiba S50t Notebook running Win10 Home, with the exact same issue.!! It has been very frustrating trying to find a resolution for it.!! I do know it has something to do with Toshiba's 'Desktop Assistant or 'Function Key' Utilities, as 1. You used to have an option to turn the led back lit keyboard off and on from the 'function key' utility.

Now it no longer exists.!! When you power up the 'Desktop Assistant' and click the on/off FN Key, the FN function keys would revert back to normal until your next reboot, then the keys will invert back, everytime.!! This is a major conflict issue.!! I hope someone can figure it out and let us know the resolution. Webworkings said: It would not be 'Toshiba function key'.
